Qantas On Departure Points Upgrade (ODPU)

  • An empty business class seat is a missed opportunity for Qantas to engage and build loyalty with their passengers. Qantas ODPU initiative allows eligible Qantas Frequent Flyer (QFF) members and Qantas Club (QC) members to upgrade to a business class seat using their QFF points.

  • Terem was engaged to develop and deploy the backend API for the ODPU feature and integration with multiple internal systems.

Achievements

  • Terem designed, built, and tested a solution to deliver a new self service ODPU mobile feature.

  • Delivered within the tight timeline of 6 weeks.

  • Terem simplified the API interface to help reduce the effort with interfacing the API in the future.
